Unlockd is the first advertiser and content funded phone plan, partnering with telcos globally to allow their users to sign up to see ads and content when they unlock their phone, in exchange for a discounted monthly bill. This means we allow advertisers to get the “first impression” on a user’s phone, with a full-screen mobile interstitial. Our first party data allows us to target by age, gender, interest, geo, and time/day – and offer our advertisers a highly targeted, 100% in-view creative canvas to reach consumers first before any other ad can.
Unlockd launched in the US with Sprint Telecom subsidiary Boost Mobile in January 2016, in Australia with Lebara Mobile in October 2015 & launches with a major UK carrier in April 2016. Major partners include Yahoo, Twitter, Facebook Audience Network, Dentsu Aegis, Starbucks, Grubhub & Hulu.
With offices in New York, Seattle, Melbourne and London, Unlockd will soon be announcing launches in multiple other international markets.
